Almond biscuits

Servings: 9-10 cookies

Ingredients

• 2 tbsp almond milk
• 3 tbsp almond butter
• 100 ml brown or white sugar
• 175ml almond paste (from almond milk with Mylky)
• ¼ tsp salt
• 250 ml flour of your choice (almond flour, white flour, etc.)
• 1-2 tsp baking powder
• 3 tsp chia seeds
• Jam of your choice

Instructions

To do this

1. Make almond milk with Mylky and squeeze out as much liquid as possible from the filter basket.

2. Set the oven to 175 C.

3. Heat the almond butter and almond milk in a saucepan over low heat and mix together.

4. Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the almond paste.

5. Add a little flour at a time and mix the batter into a dough. Depending on how dry your almond paste was, you may need to add extra flour.

6. Leave the dough to rest for 10 minutes

7. Then make 9 - 10 small balls of dough and place on a baking tray. Press your thumb into each ball and make a small dimple.

8. Add the jam of your choice to the pits.

9. Bake in the oven for 15 - 18 minutes.
